Education and Background:

Aaron completed his undergraduate at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA in Psychology. He later completed his Masters Degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem for Counseling. He completed his internship at Novant Health Behavioral Health Service where he gained experience with mental health counseling, substance abuse, career difficulties, group counseling, and intensive outpatient. Aaron served in the US Navy as a First Class Nuclear Machinist Mate (SS) where he gained leadership, service, and personal development experience.

Aaron is particularly passionate about working with individuals ages 13 and up who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, healing from suicidal ideation, self-harm, military, men, relational issues, stress management, motivation, career issues, stages of life transitions, substance abuse, trauma, and college students.

Clinical Approach:

Aaron incorporates evidence-based interventions to support clients on their healing journey. He has received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). His approach is deeply collaborative, working alongside clients to develop personalized strategies that foster resilience, growth, and empowerment. He is dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
